The Wood Encased Shelf is a Barrel like block, but mostly intended for decoration. The Wood Encased Shelf is capable of storing up to 64 books, wich can be inserted and extracted similar to the Barrel. If one or more books are inside the Wood Encased Shelf, books appear inside, making the front texture similar to that of a Bookshelf. Written and Enchanted books can be stored inside it as well, but, unlike the Barrel, similar books don't stack inside the Wood Encased Shelf, nor is there a convenient way of telling what is inside it
