The Tainted Silicon Chip is a component item added by RedPower 2 that is created by combining a Silicon Chip with Glowstone Dust, thereby "tainting" it. The Tainted Silicon Chip is used exclusively in the Randomizer and features in no other currently introduced RedPower recipes, wiring or otherwise.
