The Sonictron is a mobile version of the block of the same name. Both of these devices are added by GregTech. The Sonictron is a device that allows for on-the-go music and note-block usage. However, whereas the Sonictron's block form allows for the composition of music, the item version of the Sonictron has no GUI and does not allow for music composition.
The portable Sonictron must copy the "sheet music" pattern by right-clicking on a Sonictron block. Once it has done so, right-clicking with the Sonictron in hand will play the "sheet music" that it copied from the Sonictron block. This "sheet music" can be set in the Sonictron block's GUI. Thus, creation of a portable Sonictron will also require another Sonictron in block form to properly utilize the portable version.
If a Sonictron with a stored "sheet music" pattern is used to right-click a Sonictron block that does not yet have a set pattern, the held Sonictron's pattern will be copied over to the block, making it easy and simple to transfer pre-made musical scores from one Sonictron to another, provided that a portable Sonictron is available.
