Seed Bags are containers that can hold one type of seed or farmable plant. To fill a bag with seeds, shift + right-click to open the bag's inventory. Each bag can hold up to nine stacks of a single type of seed.
When a Seed Bag is present in the player's inventory that already contains a type of seed, it will automatically fill with any additional matching items that are picked up until it is full. To plant with a Seed Bag, right-click with it on an appropriate block for the type of seed held. A seed bag will sow up to a 5x5 area centred on the selected block with each use. Blocks need not be adjacent, all legal placements will be made within the 5x5 area.
Uses
Seed bags can hold Carrots, Potatoes, Wheat Seeds, Netherwart, Melon Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Flax Seeds, Henequen Seeds, and Corn Kernels. They do not accept either type of Mushroom, Cocoa Beans, any Saplings, Cactus, Sugar Canes, Vines, Lily Pads or Flowers.
