Defective Turrets act similarly to Sentry Turrets, but are in fact defective and will not cause damage. They will lock onto their target and track them as if they are going to attack, but instead of bullets you will just hear a few clicking noises as well as friendly/funny chatter. These turrets have a sense of humor and will say different messages when they first lock onto their target and again when their target is out of their line of site.

Defective Turrets are made by smelting a turret and currently serve no purpose other than decoration and entertainment.
