• The EMC value of iron blocks is much larger than bricks and obsidian (2304 vs. 64). Also as obsidian requires a diamond or better pickaxe to mine, bricks are the most common choice.
• The process of compression used to create an industrial diamond, now a normal diamond is created instead.
