The High Voltage (HV) Solar Array is an IC Machine used to generate EU from the sun. It is the equivalent of 512 Solar Panels, 64 LV Solar Arrays, or 8 MV Solar Arrays.
One HV Solar Array produces 512 EU/t (High Voltage; see Package Size on EU page ), which is 10,240 EU per second. It is a high voltage device, so a Glass Fibre Cable or HV Cable must be used to connect the HV Solar Array to an EU Storage device.
HV Solar Arrays are very difficult to make from raw materials, as the amount of materials required is far beyond available inventory space. The best way to produce these is with Automatic Crafting Tables.

- 48 stacks + 10 (3082 units) Redstone Dust = 197,248 EMC
- 106 stacks + 26 (6810 units) Rubber = 54,480 EMC
- 56 stacks + 13 (3597 units) Copper Ingots = 305,745 EMC
- 81 stacks + 9 (5193 units) Refined Iron Ingots = 1,329,408 EMC
- 64 stacks (4096 units) Cobblestone = 4,096 EMC
- 32 stacks (2048 units) Tin Ingots = 524,288 EMC
- 24 stacks (1536 units) Glass = 1536 EMC
- 24 stacks (1536 units) Coal Dust = 196,608 EMC
- 4 stacks (256 units) Wooden Planks = 2,048 EMC
- 4 Gold Ingots = 8,192 EMC
- 1 Diamond = 8,192 EMC

The total EMC Value of the resources needed to craft an HV Solar Array is 2,631,841 or 321.3 diamonds.
Note
HV Arrays, like all solar panels/arrays, need a direct path to sunlight in order to work. Microblock Covers , of all types, are considered to be transparent and can be used to provide a "clear" path to sunlight while still hiding the HV Array under a roof or decorated exterior floor. Technically you could bury your HV Arrays deep in your base and, as long as they had a clear path (using covers) to sunlight, they would still work although this might become difficult to maintain.
