Industrial Credits, also known as Coins, can be crafted by placing four Refined Iron in a square shape. Industrial Credits have only one purpose: they are used as currency on multiplayer servers. Industrial Credits are not used in any crafting recipes, machines, etc.

Due to the lossiness of the conversion of Credits back to Refined Iron, it is highly inadvisable to create these on a singleplayer world, as they serve no purpose and would only cause the player to lose a considerable quantity of Refined Iron used in making them as well as time spent converting credits up and down as would be necessary to store credits within any reasonable storage space. Converting Credits back into Refined Iron also requires GregTech; if not installed, Industrial Credits cannot be converted back into the Refined Iron they were created from.

Industrial Credits can be found in dungeon chests if the parameter for them to spawn in dungeon chests is set to true in the GregTech configuration file.

With GregTech installed, Industrial Credits can be converted downwards into Copper Credits or upwards into Silver Credits, Gold Credits or Diamond Credits. Each tier of Credit is worth eight times the tier before it, e.g. Industrial Credits are worth eight Copper Credits apiece and Silver Credits are worth eight Industrial Credits apiece.
