This is a Pneumatic Tube that acts as if it is 5000 blocks long. Items only pass through it when they have no other shorter places to go. It is mostly used as a last place to go tube, or to stop items from going down the wrong way.

For example, you can use this for recycling cobblestone, dirt, and other items. Just sort cobblestone to a chest, and when that chest gets full, the rest can go through this Restriction Tube to Recyclers.
