The NAND Gate is a "not and" gate. The output will be turned on at any time where at least one input is off. The inputs can be changed by Shift+Right-clicking with a screwdriver, so that one or more inputs will be disabled. When an input is disabled the small red stroke from the input torch to the input side will become grey. Red Alloy Wire and Redstone will not connect to disabled input sides.
