The Null Cell is another of numerous blocks added by RedPower 2 that allows for simplified and more compact Redstone circuitry. The Null Cell allows two different Redstone wires with different currents to cross in the same block at the same elevation without interfering or interacting with one another in any way. This allows for more compact Redstone wiring as well as allowing for Redstone wiring in spaces that cannot be expanded vertically to avoid Redstone wire collisions.
