The Timber Mod is a simple mod that allows for the destruction of a tree simply by removing the bottom block, which is closer to physics than the current method of destroying trees.

When the bottom block of a tree, even a large and multiple branched one, is removed with any type of axe, the remaining blocks of wood will be transformed into entities to be picked up by the player.

Note that this does not work with RedPower Rubber Trees.
